About Us
Accoras is a for-purpose organisation dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, families and communities.
Based in South East Queensland, we have supported people for more than 30 years through a range of early intervention, mental health, family support, employment and education programs.
We believe everyone deserves to feel connected, capable and hopeful about their future. That belief underpins our person-centred approach — meeting people where they are, listening to what matters, and walking alongside them as they build the confidence and skills to move forward.
Our multidisciplinary teams work across homes, schools and communities to ensure support is accessible, timely and tailored. Everything we do is grounded in evidence, lived experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the people we support.
We work in close partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, community organisations and funders to deliver services that are integrated, coordinated and responsive to local needs.
Whether we are helping a young person re-engage with education, supporting a family through crisis, or guiding someone on their mental health journey, our goal is always the same — to make a meaningful, lasting difference.
We’re here to change lives.
